'Lyrical Landscapes' Art Show by the Moab Pastel Guild
The Moab Pastel Guild will return to the Bighorn Gallery at Dead Horse Point State Park with a new show entitled “Lyrical Landscapes.” Subject matter includes our beloved local landscape, as well as animals, flowers, and more distant landscapes which have inspired the artists. Desert RATS Classic -100K & 50K MTB Race
The Desert RATS Classic Endurance Mountain Bike Race follows the world famous Kokopelli and classic Zion Curtain trails. This section has a wonderful mix of technical singletrack trail, big climbs and heinous descents, and even some jeep roads. Protect our homelands: From the Arctic to the Desert Southwest Film Tour

Members of the Gwich’in Nation, who have relied on the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge for survival for millennia, are traveling from the Arctic across the desert Southwest to raise the alarm about urgent threats facing the Arctic Refuge. The Arctic National Wildlife Refuge is one of the world’s last untouched wild places. Now, much like public lands across the Southwest, it’s facing the greatest threats in decades. Desert RATS Kokopelli 150 Stage Trail Race
Racers will run from Grand Junction, Colorado to the world famous Moab, Utah along the beautiful 148-mile Kokopelli trail. This is a 6 day, fully-supported stage race with distances ranging from day to day between 9 and 50 miles. This is a grueling event that will challenge the most seasoned athletes yet is designed so that less experienced ultrarunners can train for and successfully complete the course. The entire length of the trail is stunningly beautiful with jagged canyons and breathtaking vistas and Desert RATS racers experience every beautiful mile. Moab Free Summer Concert Series is a FREE live music event that will take place every Friday evening in July at Swanny City Park in conjunction with the Moab Farmer's Market. The Market begins at 4:30, music and dancing will be from 5:30- 8:30 PM. Food vendors and Beer garden available. The series opens July 7th with Toronto-based Afro-Cuban group, Battle of Santiago. This group blends percussion, rock guitar, dub basslines, soaring horns ad flutes to create a highly danceable and culturally interesting sound. Moab Free Summer Concert Series is a FREE live music event that will take place every Friday evening in July at Swanny City Park in conjunction with the Moab Farmer's Market.
